The Evashair brand
Evashair is a hair care brand created by Eva BIASSOU and her husband Reginald ANDRÉ.
The couple started the brand to help people with afro/curly hair find products that fit their needs. Both have put a lot of effort and energy into creating products that really make a difference
Evashair has grown rapidly and become a respected company in the hair care industry.
The origin of Evashair: a hair disaster...
As she began to take care of her hair herself, Eva realized that her hair routine was not right.
The moments after the shower had become stressful, because although her mother helped her detangle her hair, she did so without delicacy, causing more damage and pain.
Eva began to lose a lot of hair, which worried her and led her to space out her shampoos. Then, at the age of 19, disaster struck: significant and inexplicable hair loss.
And so began her hair care journey, compulsively trying all sorts of products and checking out tutorials and videos from America’s most popular beauty influencers. Nothing worked. Eva’s hair loss kept getting worse…
...but a catastrophe leading to solutions
Eventually, Eva found her own solutions, creating a YouTube channel in 2017 and sharing her minimalist hair routine. Her community wondered if she was selling the products she was recommending. The answer was no.
This is how the idea of a website was born, which she created with her husband. In 2019, black castor oil was the first product she marketed. In an effort to build loyalty, she offered free personalized advice and discovered that not only do 96% of women have problems with dry and brittle hair, but they also complain about the lack of effective products on the market.
This led to two years of hard work, with the participation of his community, resulting in the creation of a range of extremely hydrating hair products.

Evashair uses a combination of natural ingredients to create quality hair products. The most commonly used ingredients in their products include shea butter, argan oil, coconut oil, Haitian black castor oil, pea protein, and honey.
Commitment to Haiti and the planet
Eva and her husband are originally from Haiti, and have been involved in social initiatives, including supporting local communities in Haiti. EvasHair's positive impact on the local economy is significant and multiple (and of course includes the development of castor oil cultivation).
In 2021, the brand committed to supporting education by fully funding a school, ensuring the continuity and accessibility of education for all.
When it comes to its commitment to the environment, EvasHair has made significant efforts to reduce its carbon footprint. In 2021, the brand contributed to reforestation by planting 500 trees. However, EvasHair doesn’t plan on stopping there. With an ambitious goal of planting 100,000 new trees by 2025, the brand is clearly showing its commitment to protecting the environment and promoting sustainability.
