These are the questions you often ask us 🤔
1) Stop applying oils WITHOUT rinsing on your scalp
Frankly, the only product that we would advise you to apply, especially if you have itching or if you have abused oils in the past, is the Prophylactic lotion (trichology lotion), non-greasy and helping in particular to cleanse / maintain a good balance on your scalp 😃
2) Check if you have any deficiencies (iron, magnesium, vitamins, etc.)
If you have anemia (iron deficiency) or other deficiencies, work to correct them.
This is the basis… and it will have a direct impact on your health, both positive and negative (hair is only a reflection of your inner well-being) ♥️
In case of a large deficit, your doctor may prescribe drug treatment.
3) Avoid stress…and sleep well
…but it is always good to remember that life is short. Let us enjoy it to the fullest, as if each day were our last. Let us do good around us and find satisfaction in what we do. Let us not be too demanding of ourselves.
Sleep rests the body and mind. By getting enough sleep you allow your body to regenerate, you make it stronger.
4) Adopt a healthy lifestyle, with sport and a balanced diet.
Just as essential: water of course! 💧If you don't drink enough, your body will already lack enough to ensure vital functions... so there won't be a drop left to nourish your scalp (and therefore your hair) 😟
Finally, don't forget to do sports , exercise is very important for health... and as mentioned above, sweating is also very positive. By doing sports, you activate the sweat glands, which produce sweat. So let's get active! 👏
5) Massage your temples and your entire scalp.
This massage can be done daily, ideally in the evening… but the best time will always be when you are available, those few minutes when you think about yourself and only yourself 😎
6) Take care of your hair
- Clean your hair and especially your scalp every week (including when you “wear” a protective hairstyle)
- After shampooing, apply a hair mask (or if time is of the essence, at least a conditioner)
- “Listen” to your hair to provide it with protein (via a repairing/protein mask) when it needs it
- Moisturize your hair perfectly (and do not grease it) then apply one or more sealants according to their needs, or simply according to the hairstyle you will create.
- Gently dry your hair after moisturizing and styling. This helps to close weak bonds (unlike air drying).
In summary:
- Focus on your health and well-being (correcting any deficiencies, zenitude, sport, good nutrition)
- Leave your scalp alone (except for the occasional massage that will reward it with your beautiful hair… and possibly the Prophylactic) 😎
